Roald Dahl Author Study
At The Woods Academy, public speaking and performance are fundamental elements of the curriculum. From Poetry Breaks in Montessori, to Library Theater in 1st and 2nd Grades and the more sophisticated musical productions each spring by the 7th and 8th Grades, students are given the opportunity to build their confidence while entertaining their parents and peers and demonstrating knowledge. Every spring, the 4th Grade performs Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as the culminating event of their Roald Dahl Author Study - a signature activity.
